Many players seem to be using a different version of the launcher while installing the mod. Additional Info: Again I can't load mods on forge normally so I tried multimc to play mods and modpacks. I think there's a similar problem between the two.

I really don't know, but when I try to install mods manually with forge before they just don't work for me.What happens if you don’t put mods on Minecraft?
Click it, and wait a second for it to load. If you look at the far right of the new window, close to the bottom is "Install Forge". Then, on the right panel, click "Edit Instance". In the main MultiMC window, where your instance (modpack) is, click on the instance once.
